I build automation that quietly does the boring part.

Small, reliable systems that sit between the tools an organization already uses, such as spreadsheets, SharePoint, and e-signature platforms, and remove the manual, error-prone steps in between.

About

I design and build automations meant to be forgotten about: correct by default, low-maintenance, and unobtrusive to the people using the systems around them. Most of my work lives at the seams between tools: a spreadsheet and a web form, a calendar entry and a signature workflow, a vendor invoice and an ERP. Two recent examples are below.

Selected work

Lunch Ordering & Payment Tracking

K–12 school

A small school needed a way for parents to order weekly lunches and for staff to track who had paid, without adding paperwork or asking non-technical staff to learn new software.

Built as a Google Apps Script web app bound to a single spreadsheet, so the school's existing Sheets-based workflow stayed the source of truth. Staff publish a week's menu directly in a sheet tab; parents order through a simple web form. From there the system handles the rest: order deadlines close automatically per week (holiday-aware, calculated from real calendar dates, not toggled by hand), a live dashboard shows meal counts for the kitchen and running balances per family, a payment-tracking sidebar supports partial payments and sends email receipts, and a printable "what to cook today" list with checkboxes replaces a manual headcount. Past months archive automatically without disturbing running balances.

  • Google Apps Script
  • Google Sheets
  • Gmail API
  • HTML Service

Outcome: staff no longer manually tally orders, chase payments, or recompute who owes what. The dashboard and receipts handle it as orders and payments come in.

Provider Document Workflow Automation

Healthcare organization

Getting a document signed by an outside medical provider was a fully manual process: staff filled out a template by hand, emailed it for signature, tracked who hadn't responded, chased reminders, and filed the signed copy themselves, all while keeping a SharePoint list current.

Replaced the manual chain with a Power Automate flow triggered by a SharePoint calendar entry. The flow fills the document template from the entry's details, creates and sends a DocuSign envelope to the selected provider, and runs scheduled reminders until it's signed. Once signed, it captures the completed document, files it, updates the SharePoint item's status, and stops the reminder schedule. Completed items, list entries and documents together, are archived automatically, and item-level permissions are managed throughout so only the right people can see in-progress and completed records.

  • Power Automate
  • SharePoint
  • DocuSign
  • Microsoft 365

Outcome: this removed manual reminder-chasing and filing entirely. Staff create a calendar entry, and the document lifecycle, from send to signed to archived, runs itself with a clear status trail.
